AI Transparency
Under the EU AI Act (Article 50 transparency obligations, applying from 2 August 2026), people must be told when they interact with AI and when content is AI-generated. Here's how StoryWeaver Pro uses AI.
Built with AI
The StoryWeaver Pro framework — this website and app — was built with the help of generative AI tools.
AI-generated pictures
The watercolour illustrations of cast members, locations and marketing artwork are generated or repainted by AI. They are labelled where they appear.
Your selfie
When you use Take a Selfie, an AI image model repaints your photo as a watercolour character. You are told before it happens, and the result is stored privately for your account only.
Stories from Gemini Storybook
StoryWeaver Pro writes a prompt; the finished books are created by Google's Gemini Storybook, which is an AI system. Its output is AI-generated content.
Human oversight
All cast, locations and backstory are chosen and edited by people. AI output can contain mistakes — please read stories before sharing them with children.
